I’m the CEO and I need someone to provide me high level guidance on our financial performance data. How would this relationship work?
We work as closely with you as you’d like us to. Different leaders prefer different types of support. We understand that as a CEO or a member of the leadership team, you’re required to report back to the board of directors regularly and you need to have confidence in your understanding and application of your financial data.
I’m sure we could be doing things better with our finance and operation processes but I’m not sure where to start. Are you able to help us with this?
Yes, we can definitely help you out with this. As your business operations become larger and more complicated, it’s likely that practices that used to suit your smaller business have lost their efficiency. Conversely, there are likely to be processes and structures which would suit your business scale now, that previously weren’t cost effective to use and implement.
We commonly advise on tax efficiency and group structures reviews as well as improvement of finance processes such as accounts receivable management, inter-company transactions, cash flow budgeting and planning. Get in touch and we’ll be able to look under the hood and provide recommendations for ways you could upgrade and future proof your business.
Do you prepare financial statements under NZ IFRS?
Unfortunately we don’t. We’re able to go as far as providing tier 1-4 reporting for not-for-profit entities and charities. If you’re unsure if your business needs to meet NZ IFRS reporting requirements, we’re more than happy to have a chat and help you figure that out.
Do you do audits?
Unfortunately we don’t perform audits as we don’t specialise as an audit practice. We do have a lot of experience in supporting businesses and finance teams through an audit process. Because we know how auditors work, we can guide your team and help answer any difficult questions during the process.
